Associate Relations Consultant

Responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for all Anthem employees as it relates to employee relations issues including but not limited to investigations, agency charges (EEO, DOL), employment litigation, associate complaints, performance management, coaching, development, attendance, and other issues.

 Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides advice, guidance, coaching, and training to associates and managers based on corporate policies and in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Provides oversight of the company’s internal investigations of associate complaints and/or manager consultation for policy interpretation or employee concerns.  Serves as a liaison to Anthem internal departments as it relates to all employee relations matters.
  • Develops and provides periodic associate relations-related analytical data and analyzes trends to determine appropriate action plans.

Social Work Case Manager

In this position you are responsible for ensuring effective psycho-social intervention, positively impacting a patient’s ability to manage his/her chronic illness.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Utilizes available community, government, and/or client resources needed to address participant’s limitations or support interventions in the management of the participant’s chronic condition.
  • Manages behavioral and psycho-social needs that result in improved clinical and financial outcomes and delivers social work interventions.
  • Assists members to effectively utilize available resources to meet their personal health needs and help them develop their own capabilities.
  • Evaluates members’ ability to independently manage self and locate alternative resources when limitations are identified via a Social Work Psycho-social evaluation.
  • Provides guidance to members seeking alternative solutions to specific social, cultural or financial problems that impact their ability to manage their healthcare needs.
