Courtesy Bus Driver

As an Avis Courtesy Bus Driver, you will transport customers to and from the airport terminal and the rental car facility safely in all weather conditions. You will greet and assist customers with their needs, luggage and inquire whether a customer is a Preferred or a FastBreak member. You will make announcements if you have a Chairman customer and communicate various stops along the way or other important information along the route via the intercom system helping them feel valued and making you – an important part of our Avis Budget Group team. You will also conduct pre and post trip bus inspections along with logging your daily work hours in the DOT book.

Basic Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

Admin Clerk

As an Admin Clerk, you will provide general clerical assistance to internal and external customers.  Responsibilities include accounts payables, receivables, purchase orders, vended vehicles, inventory, reporting, and clerical duties.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Support purchase order, accounts payable and receivables accounting and reporting processes.
  • Compile and report on vended vehicles and inventories.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, file, fax, and copy as directed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Automotive Fleet Services Manager, some may involve working outside of the office on the lot or in the maintenance shop.

Basic Qualifications/ Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in an office setting preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills. Ability to interact with both internal and external customers at all levels.

Administrative Assistant 

To be successful in this demanding role you will have strong communication skills and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and able to make a positive impact on key responsibilities, some of which will include the following:

  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the District Manager and HR Partner.
  • Assist with operational support for customer recovery
  • Plans, coordinates and ensures the District Manager and HR Partner’s schedule is followed and respected. Provides “gatekeeper” and “gateway” role, creating win-win situations for employees.
  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
  • Assists in managing special projects.  Project management skills necessary.
  • Produces information by formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data and graphics.  Strong Microsoft Excel skills necessary.
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Leads new hire orientation, coordinates new hire training programs, assists in preserving files
  • Provides a variety of reports to location managers.
  • Assist in other roles/activities as assigned
  • Providing key administrative and clerical support to the function’s District Manager and other management team members;
  • Receiving, logging, researching, and distributing all litigation related correspondence, summonses, etc. to the appropriate manager;
  • Ensuring  that vendor accounts are paid and kept up to date;
  • Handling employee related transitions including new hire paperwork and other routine changes;
  • Participating in Human Resources related compliance projects;
  • Approving payroll for the corporate employees in the District;
  • Researching and referring litigation related items to licensee location, third party administrator, etc.;
  • Maintaining and updating closed contracts for the districts operators;
  • Assisting management in scheduling and running organizational meetings;
  • Providing confidential administrative and clerical support to the locations District Manager.

Required Experience

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of three years experience in general office experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management.
  • Payroll and other administrative or secretarial education/experience a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Self motivated, requiring little direct supervision.
  • Solid PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and responsibilities.

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be greeting customers as they return their rental car to our lot ensuring a smooth and safe traffic flow.
