Food Preparation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Demonstrates sanitation and food safety practices consistently.
  2. Completes daily jobs timely and accurately.
  3. Follows company safety standards at all times.
  4. Coordinates job duties around other opening team members to help ensure efficient preparation for opening.
  5. Clean and sanitize work area, equipment, and utensils.
  6. Must safely handle raw food products and ready-to-serve products, and pay close attention, so there is no cross-contamination.

  8. Must be Serv-Safe Certified
  9. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
  10. Prepare a variety of foods for the day.

  13. Takes temperatures of required foods and provides documentation on the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist.
  14. Put food in the kitchen prior to opening.
  15. Duties must be completed by 10:00 am so the restaurant is ready to open.
  16. Report problems with any products to the opening manager.
  17. Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty.

Assistant Manager
