Cashier
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for keeping your area neat, clean, well stocked and ready to serve our guests. Produce Clerk
Produce Clerks are responsible for making sure the Produce section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance; with a focus on food safety and food presentation. Clerks are called upon for stocking, and rotation of stock; as well as any and all duties as assigned by a member of management.
Stocker
Stockers are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance. Stockers will stock shelves, build displays, bag groceries for customers, unload trucks, organize the back room and clean store areas as required. They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers. Stockers will follow all safety rules and other task assigned.
Education: High School or equivalent
Experience & Skills: Previous Grocery experience is preferred. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction. In addition, you must have good communication skills, and good personal grooming habits.
Availability: Early Morning and/or Evenings, weekends and the ability to work varied hours and days based on the needs of the business.
All positions require open availability and no special accommodations can be made or guaranteed. This position is Part Time, which means changing schedules are a requirement of this job.
Crew Schedules are determined by business needs therefore all schedules must be flexible.
Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stoop, and climbing a ladder is required on occasion.
Requires you to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
Deli Clerk
Deli Clerks are responsible for making sure the Deli section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance; with a focus on food safety and food presentation. Clerks are called upon for food service ( including catering) , food prep, stocking, order taking, order fulfillment, as well as any and all duties as assigned by a member of management.
Meat Clerk
Meat Clerks are responsible for making sure the Meat section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance; with a focus on food safety and food presentation. Clerks are called upon for meat prep, meat cutting, wrapping, stocking, and rotation of stock; as well as any and all duties as assigned by a member of management.
Cake Decorator
A Cake Decorator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Icing, decorating, packaging, labeling, and pricing products for refrigerated cases
- Icing, decorating, tray, and maintaining freezer and refrigerated showcase
- Filling customer special orders, which may include wedding cakes
- Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-relation decisions; greeting customers and responding to questions
- Operating the Bakery department mixer
- Following Piggly Wiggly’s guidelines and procedures for Cake Decorators, including maintaining product freshness and sanitation; as well as, organizing and rotating stock in Bakery freezer
- Training other associates as needed; and assisting in other duties as assigned
