Responsibilities Include:

  • Responds promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance by providing customer service, greeting and acknowledging each customer, and being knowledgeable of store products and policies
  • Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions to itemize and total customer purchases
  • Records daily transactions and balance drawer by counting money at the beginning and end of each shift

  • Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise

  • Stock shelves, counters or tables with merchandise
  • Attend require product meetings

Bike Service Shop Technician

The Service Shop Technician will provide world class customer service through the Scheels service shop. This role will provide store growth through labor sales and assembly of various products throughout the entire store.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and welcoming all customers.
  • Efficiently provide maintenance and assembly of customer and store equipment. Equipment may involve bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, ski’s, hockey skates and sticks, baseball gloves and bats, golf clubs, racquet sports, paintball markers and other merchandise in a Scheels Store.
  • Safely filling CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment.
  • Ensure a clean and Professional Environment.
  • Assist with delivering and loading customer equipment and merchandise at the store and to customer residences.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Leadership.
  • Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Ability to lift items overhead more than 6 feet
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Ability to lift, bend, sit, twist frequently
  • Ability to speak for extended periods to customers or associates
