Responsible for application analysis, design development, integration and enhancement. Administrative Specialist: Performs a variety of day-to-day routine general secretarial work necessary for the smooth operation of the department; composes, processes, and maintains departmental records; processes reports, statistics, agendas, schedules, and manuals necessary for office operations; receives and processes minutes as needed; files and records information; performs various projects as assigned; coordinates with team and outside consultants; serves as the department’s primary point of contact and answers the telephone and provides general information regarding the office operations and/or services, as well as upcoming conference arrangements; assists with the various  conference/commission details and planning; processes incoming/outgoing mail; orders department supplies; develops and tracks the departmental calendar for travel, vacations, seminars; responsible for departmental billing; serves as department’s staff liaison working with vendors and printers; handles appointments, schedules, and travel arrangements for department, supports department projects and major initiatives; relieves the NYS of routine and technical administrative functions as needed.
