Production Assistant 

About the Role

* Account for and organize merchandise, props and grip equipment for photography.
* Understand and communicate any specific sample variances that might impact photography.
* Work with photo studio team to identify any damaged and/or missing samples leading up to their photo shoots.
* Communicate outstanding sample list to producer/studio manager and work with brand merchants to solve problems.

* Understand multiple schedules and calendar deadlines and prioritize work accordingly.
* Load and unload merchandise, props, and equipment between warehouse and photo studio.
* Assist with rigging, painting, assembling merchandise, prop prep, and set prep and breakdown.
* Develop familiarity with merchandise, props, grip and photo equipment, and assist crew as needed.
* Repack photo samples and props in original containers (when applicable) and protect for safe transport.
* Replace merchandise and props to designated areas at Brisbane warehouse.
* Maintain professional demeanor with photo team and vendors.
* Perform additional duties and errands as assigned by the photography team.
* Drive 15-18 foot truck (requires no special license).

What we’re looking for…

* 1-2 years of home furnishing, interior decorating experience and/or interior design education Interior design certification strongly preferred
* Excellent communication skills & passion for working with people Excitement for the brand & products we sell
* Must be able to spend ample time on the sales floor focusing on customer needs
* Willingness to travel for in home consultations. {If driving your personal vehicle, proof of the state required auto liability insurance or proof of financial responsibility & a state issued driver’s license)
* Must be able to lift & mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment & safety techniques
* Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business. Casual associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and one during the week (Monday to Thursday). Associates must be available for annual inventory and entire holiday season {November and December).
* ‘Example: Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and
* Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday). If preferred, an associate can also choose to have all three shifts of availability on the weekend (Friday to Sunday) and none during the week (Monday to Thursday).
