Help Desk

This position offers some remote work, a casual work environment, and flexible hours.

Our Help Desk team provides technical support related to the management of day-to-day user hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate possesses excellent troubleshooting skills for isolating problems and determining/implementing solutions, as well as the desire to take the initiative to own and resolve customer issues according to SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Take end-to-end ownership of customer issues, including initial troubleshooting, identification of root cause and issue resolution; Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality, timeliness, and overall experience
  • Troubleshoot AV and video conferencing technologies (Zoom)
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners for new and existing users; repair and replace equipment as necessary
  • Ensure that all support calls are logged, resolved, or are escalated to the proper group for resolution
  • Responsible for desktop configurations and imaging, providing ongoing system updates and maintenance of these systems as well as LAN/WAN network troubleshooting
  • Assist and educate network users, as part of every day support
  • Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation and training materials if needed
  • Assist other IT team members with project tasks and testing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related degree or relevant experience
  • 1+ years of experience providing technical support and/or system administration in a customer-facing role
  • Strong knowledge of PC and Apple hardware and software configurations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, macOS, Microsoft Office, and other standard enterprise applications
  • Experience supporting applications such as Google Apps, Office 365, etc.
  • Strong relationship management, customer service, and communication skills through a variety of platforms
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
  • Experience researching, analyzing and interpreting automated system problems
  • Technical documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification – preferred, but not required

Web Technical Support Representative

Located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, our headquarters team leads, produces, and delivers biblical solutions to fulfill the mission and vision of LifeWay.

LifeWay is currently seeking a Technical Support Representative to provide web tech support for customers via LifeWay’s internet site.  Position provides technical support to internal and external clients through phone, email and chat interactions to ensure customer satisfaction in ordering products and services. This position responds to service tickets, inbound emails and phones calls and works directly with customers to provide account support and technical problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Provides web support for digital solutions such as digital tools, eBooks, digital applications and simulcasts
  • Diagnoses technical problems for PC, Mac, and portable devices
  • Investigates, analyzes and resolves inquiries received by phone, email, fax or web chat in high volume call center
  • Uses Oracle Service Cloud, Cherwell, Google Docs and MS Office to research orders, resolve software issues
  • Researches and reports potential fraud and report system errors
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through call resolution
  • Receives and enters customer orders
  • Enters adjustment orders and credit memos

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or technical certificate in web technology. BA or BS degree – Preferred
  • Advanced PC and Mac skills – Required
  • Advanced skills using multiple digital platforms, such as Android and iOS as well as familiarity with current web browsers
  • Advanced mobile device applications knowledge
  • Work under pressure and stress
  • Can make quick and accurate decisions – Required

Sales Associate

Store associates serve customers by meeting their needs with biblical solutions for life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service through the promotion and/or sales of products and services in store and by phone
  • Assist leadership in the daily coaching and development of store team members
  • Assist with point of sale opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain and fill special order requests, will call, and customer holds
  • Perform inventory tasks including the update of product pricing, cycle counts, vendor returns, and stocking of incoming product
  • Assist with visual merchandising and seasonal and/or promotional resets.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year, accredited college or university – preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year retail sales experience – required
  • Minimum one (1) year Christian retail experience – preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes opening the store, closing the store, working
  • Saturdays, and rotating holidays as required
  • Proven ability to lead teams, foster strong relationships, and influence decisions
  • Strong PC and Point of Sale (POS) skills
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize excellent organizational skills
  • Passionate about retail
  • Active church membership in evangelical Christian church – required
